Nougat 26

Hi dear

Today’s Holy Nougat could be read as an invitation to prayer –

“When Moses came down Mount Sinai carrying the two stone tablets inscribed with the terms of the covenant, he wasn’t aware that his face had become radiant because he had spoken to the Lord.”

Exodus 34:29 NLT

He spent Forty days with God and only God! Unwavering and fully focused. No one – no wife, no sister, no brother; yet all of Israel accompanied him as he got directives from God about the Law. Forty days, not so much about seeking his own breakthrough, as seeking breakthrough for another.

Dare we examine ourselves? Are we available for Forty seconds, Forty minutes, Forty hours to hear from God all for others? If yes, we praise God for you and your diligence. Many of us struggle with intercession, especially for others. Let’s not forget that Moses had a personal relationship with God – they were way past speed dialing; they were

Friends, I believe that God is calling us to more intentional prayer, for ourselves And for others. Time spent with God is never wasted, and it is always rewarded, even if we don’t immediately see the results, and others fail to notice the divine glow.

Aaah, the mark on our lives of our time spent with God. I suspect that these days it would be God’s Spirit indwelling within us – ready and raring to hear and effect our prayers.

Are we up to a divine appointment today?
