Hello

As I prepare for the last earthly rites concerning my nephew, please expect a pause in the distribution of the nougats – for a few days.

Meanwhile, I invite you to consider what drives you – logic or faith? Here’s today’s Holy Nougat

“They said, “Isn’t this Jesus, the son of Joseph? We know his father and mother. How can he say, ‘I came down from heaven’?”” John 6:42 NLT

Logic says, ‘These are the facts. Irrefutable and unchanging. My stance is closed. I shall not be swayed.’

Faith says, ‘I’ll consider the facts, with provision for the Spirit’s move.’ It further states, ‘I don’t always understand the facts, but I have complete confidence in the One Who is before facts .’

What if the facts truly are the facts and our faith proves ‘false’? Is it worthwhile to call upon the Lord at that time? Certainly it is worthwhile to call upon faith beyond sight and ask God for ‘proof’that our faith is not misguided.

Are there situations which we face where logic and faith seem to be at cross purposes? How then shall we go forward?

Grace and peace today and beyond …

In Christ
