Hi,

My goddaughter and I have been studying maths for a fortnight. One aspect of her studies had been determining the area of various shapes. You remember …

L x W = A (sq. units) and of course, looking at irregular shapes and breaking the shapes into smaller pieces. Oh yes, I relived many a pained math session. Shapes and areas were never my thing.

But dimensions matter to God. Especially in relation to God’s love for us.

Let’s savour this inequation presented in today’s Holy Nougat

And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. Ephesians 3:18 NLT

For all my experience with finding the area of two dimensional objects, my brain cannot fathom the extent of God’s love for us. I understand the dimensions of God’s love and that’s what truly matters.

So whether it’s 1 Cross + 3 Nails = 4Given or ” the when I asked him if he loved me, he stretched out his hands and said, “This much.” version, I’ve worked it out.

And that’s amazing

How’s your math?

Blessings and joy
