Have you ever wished one of the miracles of the Bible were to come to pass in your life? If so, how did you imagine your response? And which miracle would it (not) be?
What would you do in Moses’ sandals? You’re avoiding God and your past, and in the middle of nowhere, there’s a fire that’s not quite a fire?
But then, God’s approach to each person varies. Perhaps in response to their (our) personalities. And usually, God manages to get our attention. Especially when we’re in avoid mode.
Is God trying to garner our attention? Have we noticed, or are we feigning obviousness? Maybe it’s time to investigate that “burning bush” …
