I trust that you are well. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“When the group of prophets from Jericho saw from a distance what happened, they exclaimed, “Elijah’s spirit rests upon Elisha!” And they went to meet him and bowed to the ground before him.” 2 Kings 2:15 NLT
He got what he asked for 1 double the anointing manifested by his master. It wasn’t as simple a request as it sounds. It came with such heavy responsibilities that his master wasn’t sure that God would acquiesce. But God did. Elisha tarried, and was rewarded for his dedicated faith.
Initially, Elisha seemed unsure that he was walking in the new anointing – but God did. God came through and sent confirmation. To the extent that the company of prophets immediately acknowledged Elisha as their new head.
Are you undergoing doubts about your spiritual identity or seriously questioning your purpose? Does it feel like that which you’ve been anointed to do has not materialized? Have you been yearning for a change in spiritual circumstances – apparently to no avail?
