Nougat 24

Hello

How have you been keeping? This has been a bittersweet week for me. There were two sets of occurrences in my not so normal life – Both sets of incidents were stemming from possible causes for worry. In both instances, I found myself holding to the Word, and turning everything over to the Lord.

On the one hand, the shootings and threats of springs in schools have come way too close to home for my liking. I’ve been praying about the shooting incidents prior, but suffice it to say, this week my prayers have been more specific.

On the other hand I’ve been so blessed this week from so many persons in unexpected ways that I’ve been reiterating to many that My God loves me more than Most. (That’s possibly very true, but remember … To whom much is given, much is expected – so don’t get too jealous)

One verse which kept me sane and confident that God’s got (both situations) this is today’s Holy Nougat™

Then, turning to his disciples, Jesus said, “That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life—whether you have enough food to eat or enough clothes to wear.

Luke 12:22 NLT

What keeps you going when life tries to swamp you with stress – whether it be guns a-blazing; work overwhelming; relationships souring; or spirits sinking? Is it a Nougat of Scripture, a song, encouragement from friends and family, prayers of the righteous, exercise, comfort food or none/all of the above?

Might I suggest that if it doesn’t involve faith in Jesus, that you’ve got one more possibility left to try.

Just maybe you’ll find that your faith will not be misplaced.

Shalom n Salam

In Christ’s love and grace
