Every where we turn, things are intensifying. Perhaps it’s time for war.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat ™
Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come: Ephesians 1:21 KJV
Locate the battle. As much as is possible, avoid taking some things personally. Instead, recognize them as either weapons aimed directly at us to cripple us, or as a deflective blow intended to distract and disarm us.
It is believed that the USA maintains its greatness because no battle is fight on its shores. That may well be the case, but for us, we adjust that concept slightly. Because the battle is the Lord’s, let us opt to locate the battlefield on God’s turf, eagle style.
In so doing, we admit that it is God who fights for us, (also declaring what we know the outcome to be – Victory in Jesus), by going to a place of the enemy’s vulnerability. For, if Jesus is at God’s Right Hand – above principalities, powers, dominions, and even that which is named – then the enemy is without the best tools necessary for waging war against him. [Remenber, even death has already been conquered]. The outcome has already been determined. Not that there won’t be little skirmishes in the natural, but we do not yield.
How to get the battle there? If prayer takes us into the very Presence of God, and Christ actually ushers us into the Holy of Holies, then there is merit to Paul’s assertions that we pray constantly in the Spirit (Ephesians 6). We MUST be on the offensive. No time for dishes or games. Most times, we’re fighting for our lives or the lives of others.
Let’s avoid being duped into ambush at the enemy’s level. We take the battle to the Lord’s level and set the outcome.
For heaven’s sake, let’s fight like we know God is on our side.
The battle is not ours, it’s the Lord’s.
