Nougat 23

Isn’t it awesome to know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Jesus is still at work in us? Consider today’s Holy Nougat

“Now to him who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭NRSV‬‬

I like the fact that there’s mention of the Power at work WITHIN. For that is where God’s power (ie God’s Spirit) is housed. And we know that since His ascension, that’s how Jesus remains current with us. We also know the infinite possibilities for our spiritual growth that results from God’s Spirit at work in our lives. It’s about the Fruit … Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering, Goodness, Gentleness, Faith, Meekness, and Temperance. Not even the virus nor the law can contest it.

Further we have the opportunity for personal manifestation of God’s Spirit. And that is definitely within; although it’s an outer proof that God is at work through and with us. And if there’s someone working with that Power; then it MUST be of God. For, a house divided against itself cannot stand (Mark 3:25).

As this year 2021 comes rushing to a close, it is extremely important to stay focused. I offer to us, the One mentioned in the nougat. For with Christ already equipped and authorized to work with and within us, we have the blessed assurance that we are NOT alone and that it really is already alright.

How about it? Will we return our trust and the reins of our lives to Jesus? Hmmn
