Bless the Lord saints

God is not dead, God is alive. And somewhere in the world someone is praising. And while there are people praising, the enemy of our souls is busy working to spoil the fun. Sometimes the enemy looks exactly like us “religious” folks.

Then Jesus told this story to some who had great confidence in their own righteousness and scorned everyone else: Luke 18:9 NLT

The trouble with many of us Christians behind when we get personal religion. We develop our own sense of God’s purpose and plan for humanity, naming ourselves as little gods in our minds, and if that continues unchecked, we then move to sin.

Unfortunately, spiritual pridefulness is neither new nor appreciated. It’s what sent Lucifer tumbling from heaven. And, if we are not careful we become guilty of the same when we discriminate against another on the grounds of their ‘visible’ proof of Chosen-ness. That’s one of the sins that easily divides and still plagues the body of Christ.

The good news is; for each of us ever guilty or pridefulness,, God has graciously provided the antidote. To neutralize the effect of that sin, the blood of Jesus must be applied. No cost for the antidote, and it’s a Cure-all for any sin ailment in our lives.

May God’s grace through Christ be the cure for each of our souls.
