Hi
As believers, we are obliged to live our faith practically. Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Then Jesus used this story to teach his followers that they should always pray and never lose hope.” Luke 18:1 NCV
My dears, we are gifted with the opportunity to be creative in sharing our faith globally. Let’s do so with wisdom and discernment. And so we pray
- for the church; that we emerge from this experience, with our faith stronger and our testimony surer
- for church leaders to use wisdom and discernment in this season, as we guide others in this season
- for government leaders (ruling as well as the opposition) to follow God’s direction, and no one else’s; seeking God’s face intentionally before making any decisions
- for children in families, that this is a time of nurturing and love, assuring them of their preciousness; with zero acts of abuse
- for children in orphanages or who are self-parenting to experience God’s love, protection and provision in tangible ways and that they emerge stronger and more confident that God’s love is with them always
- for adults, young adults, and teens who are alone to feel God’s presence in the rough patches, that they may draw closer to God in this time.
- for families (normal and dysfunctional) to be safe havens for everyone living together, and to draw closer in this time in ways that honor God and each other.
- for those imprisoned falsely to find hope despite their situation and they rely on God to see them through
- for those entrenched in the prison system and those ‘lawfully’ locked up; that they may experience God’s grace and be moved to transformation even in these times
- for those in the direct line of impact, whether medical workers, store or supermarket staff (owners), truckers or other essential services; their families and support May remain healthy and stress-free in the face of the challenges
- for those in homes, refugee camps, places of safety/shelters to find comfort, safety and grace that comes only from Christ. And for there to be adequate and healthy staff and carers to meet their needs
- for creativity in work and food production, that poverty, hunger and unemployment will not follow a close second to death totals despite what it promises to be
- for a marked reduction in crimes and violence globally, even after this season is done
- for sexual abuse and gender based violence to end (especially now when cyber crimes have increased)
- for ourselves that we remain faithful and focused and that we grow deeper in our faith and stronger in our relationship with Jesus and for us to give up any action that is offensive to God
- for God’s will to be manifested in terms of healing and cures in God’s timing
- for the world to seek God’s peace and not our own glory
Lord Jesus as we pray, please hear us, forgive us and heal our lands. Seal us under Your blood we pray, please Jesus amen
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
