Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ: Philippians 1:6 ASV
What is it that we truly are assured of? Rest in Christ? More like God’s plans for our lives? Of God’s faithfulness to each one of us EVERY step of the way.
And with God being ready to complete God’s plans, then we are consoled in times of crisis. It means that we seek God’s directive every step of the way. Then we will not fear the unknown, for even our uncertainties are in the works. God’s works. God’s soon to be completed plans for us.
So let’s not despair, but hold steadfast to the promise of the journey AND the destination.
