Hi

Have you ever had some food which you so enjoy that you go slowly and savour …

Today’s Holy Nougat™ continues to offer us such an opportunity.

So he complained to the Lord about it: “Didn’t I say before I left home that you would do this, Lord ? That is why I ran away to Tarshish! I knew that you are a merciful and compassionate God, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. You are eager to turn back from destroying people. Jonah 4:2 NLT

Can you imagine Jonah complaining to God the way he did? Boldly/barefacedly justifying his decision to disobey God, based on the grounds of his understanding of God’s nature? Yet, isn’t it this very same understanding which assured him that HIS OWN act would not necessarily result in his condemnation? It brings Paul’s assurance into sharper focus doesn’t it … Now there is therefore NO condemnation … None. Nada. Nil. Nein. Rien. Nothing

But Jonah condemned the Ninevites …

While taking God’s grace for granted

Hmmmm
