Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.2 Chronicles 20:11
Saints of God, there are times when in our obedience to the Almighty God, our kindness to others is rewarded by the displacement of that which the Lord has given to us as our inheritance.
Might I recommend that we respond as King Jehoshappat did…
First, plead our cause before the Lord our God, the One who owns and establishes our inheritance. It takes the issue to the place where it WILL be settled, God’s presence.
And of course, when we place it in God’s hands, we await God’s instructions and intervention.
Yes.
We wait.
God will not fail us.
We wait.
Be still in God’s presence
