In returning to the roots, I noted the phrases relating to Forgive and Debts spoke to restoration of self and others. For even, make that especially when we present ourselves before God; it is imperative that our restored self be seen. With our best effort at purity and perfection being tainted by sin (usually ours) it is critical that we invite the totally Sinless One to remove (discharge) our sins from our lives.
