Wanna get a fresh reminder about grace – seriously consider today’s Holy Nougat
“For the person who keeps all of the laws except one is as guilty as a person who has broken all of God’s laws.” James 2:10 NLT
And that is the rub. For it is impossible for any of us to keep all the commandments, bar none. For although he is our older brother, He is God – the indwelling Messiah. Not on the same plane at all. But that’s fine, because it means
A. Jesus, not you or me, is the point of reference for sinlessness
B. In recognizing that we have sinned, repentance is our lot, not misdirection of our transgressions by highlighting the wrongs of others.
C. We have the marvelous opportunity to pray for others’ forgiveness even as we pray for our own.
And that’s for starters.
For, we just might discern other things on the matter when we have our one-on-One with God.
For those of us who continue to wrestle with sin; remember that our story doesn’t HAVE TO end at sinfulness. For the same God Who hates sin is the very same God Who loves each of us sinners; allowing Christ to be the Ransom for every single solitary (or group) sin we commit. If we’d like.
We’re all sinners.
Some chose Grace.
Grace conquers sin because
Christ took our place
