How goes with you? May grace and peace be yours today! Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2 NLT
Technically, the reference is actually looking at how we correct in love. But operatively, this Nougat has been referenced at its most literal. Help each other through life’s dangers, tools and snares. Bearing the burden of someone’s problems is hard. Very hard. Especially when we are taught to be responsible for one person only. Taking the brunt of another’s sin, with or without their being repentant, is walking in Christ.
You see, I’m learning that forgiveness is on us; that is – choosing to release the offense from a wrong committed against us. I’m still learning. Repentance is on them; for our decision to forgive is not dependent upon repentance. Not when it’s the Christ-ian way.
Are there burdens to be shared/borne us today? Let’s get cracking
