Greetings
‘A mind is a terrible thing to waste’. (Young & Rubican for United Negri College Fund c. 1971) Now that’s a timeless truism. Yet so many of us have grown lazy forfeiting the pursuit of knowledge having been daunted by obstacles within the formal education system. What if like Solomon we choose to seek wisdom and understanding? Hmmmm . Here’s today’s Holy Nougat
And we have received God’s Spirit (not the world’s spirit), so we can know the wonderful things God has freely given us. 1 Corinthians 2:12 NLT
According to today’s nougat, we are all granted access to knowing all that God has gifted us with. Knowing what we have received is important. It helps to shape our claim on spiritual gifts, healings and any other resource needed for survival on earth. There’s another level/aspect of knowledge which may have been underutilized however, and that is knowing and understanding HOW to use the gifts God grants us.
This may be accessed through reading God’s Word, studying at the feet of mentors and sages who’ve gathered their own resource base, trial and error or praying for wisdom to use God’s gifts wisely. I would argue all of the above as this is not a multiple choice.
Before we go accessing the knowledge, here’s a few critical questions we each must answer…
– Why have we not tapped into the gifts from God before
– Why do we desire the gifts now
– How might we use this new knowledge and wisdom we seek for God’s glory
In all we seek, let us seek knowledge … for the glory of God.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
