It’s such fun to see, such fun to see Satan lose Satan lost alright. The jailer was so close to a full-time, eternal commitment. Then Paul intervened. And, just like that a suicide attempt was thwarted. And a whole houseful of persons joined them. No one knows the true value of those who were saved. And Paul’s move toward the jailer, could have triggered one of the householders into action.
Likewise, we don’t know whose lives we touch when we minister in God’s name. We may have a sense of the outer story, but it is God who knows the struggles faced by the ones on the INSIDE. And that’s where God bids us come partner (just like Billy Graham did internationally).
Are we willing to share the Good News with those whom we meet? Who knows who the Lord has called, seeking our commitment to share in the person’s life transformation!
