Hello
So a few of us have been trusting and trudging through the Valley/Wilderness for a while, and it’s been tempting to give up. Might I encourage you as I’m encouraging myself to let go. Believe that God’s canopy is below and free fall into God’s purpose.
That’s the appetizer for today’s Holy Nougat™
(For we walk by faith, not by sight:) 2 Corinthians 5:7 KJV
Sometimes, it’s critical to be a little like Peter – getting out of the boat; a little like that Bleeding Woman – reaching for our breakthrough; and a lot like Mary – daring to say yes to God in the face of the Unknown.
Those are but a few of those who opted to focus on God’s call rather than their own experience or public opinion. But before we go self-bashing here, let’s consider a major fact – when last did you step out in Faith? Sometimes we’re wont to ignore those details in our own lives where we stepped out with Faith smaller than the mustard seed, yet experienced God’s covenant Power working through the impossible.
The recent round of internet motivation reminds us to focus on the area of white, rather than the dot, and this is very pertinent to stepping out. While we need to acknowledge the distractions as such, it is far more important that we focus on our core intent – breakthrough!! Walking by sight often zeroes in on the disappointments, the failure, the negative probabilities … Faith declares, “I can do all things through Christ”; allowing God to arrest and/or release regardless …
Are we ready to let go? It’s scary. Faced with the free fall ride on the roller coaster of life, let’s Hope on (yes it’s hope rather than hop), and hand the rest fearfully yet prayerfully over to God!
Ready fo da ride? Let go!
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
