Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
You made me; you created me. Now give me the sense to follow your commands. Psalms 119:73 NLT
It’s a good thing that God is ultra powerful, yes. And abounding in patience!!!!! For, ensuring that us humans use the sense given us is a very tall order for mere mortals. Only our Creator would even wish to undertake such a task.
On the other hand, we could OPT to follow God’s commands, since we WERE given the good sense. If we did, we’d find it makes life much easier. Many a one has walked the self path and discovered that the detour was costly.
So today Holy Spirit, please override our baser instincts so that we might use the good sense You gave us to obey Your commands. Guide us in Your parths of righteousness we pray, in Jesus’s name Amen
