Dear Lord
Help us share the love you have passed to us, especially with those we consider unlovable. Teach us to love ourselves so we might love you more.
As we grow deeper in our walk with you, open our spiritual eyes that we might see your heart and understand you more. Turn our hearts to the things you love, burning compassion for those on the outskirts, mercy for the unloved and forgiveness for the abusive. And by our actions, the fruit of our lives, may others know you as God of Love.
Ferret out the despicable elements in our lives and move us to repentance.
Forgive our waywardness when we repent and help us focus on pleasing you.
Fill us today with a fresh outpouring of your Holy Spirit as we are aligned with you.
Fix our eyes on you dear Lord, the Author and Finisher of our Faith.
Fulfil your plans for our lives we pray in Jesus’s name Amen.
