Nougat 21

A holy and blessed Monday to you

How was your Palm/Passion Sunday? And for those whose day of worship is on Saturday, how was it? Anointed beyond the norm, I hope.

Here’s today’s nougat

When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in the spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me. John 13:21

Knowing of Judas’ imminent betrayal pained Jesus greatly. Not just for the act, but in knowing that Judas would lose hope and faith.

What a comfort to know that when we are at our spiritual worst, Jesus is troubled.

Additionally, let us take comfort in the knowledge that with Jesus being discomfitted, there’s hope and forgiveness and grace. How amazing is that grace.
