Good day

Have you ever begun to dress and found to your dismay that there was a visible flaw in the clothing (a run, burn marks, unsightly stains, etc)? Especially when you were needing to represent an organisation or participate in an interview? What about us needing to represent God as God’s beloved? Something to chew on with today’s Holy Nougat

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Colossians 3:12 NLT

Recently one of the children of my spirit completed a spiritual audit as part of a Lenten practice. Using the results, my beloved child sought to determine areas for growth and development.

Perhaps this was a response to today’s nougat. For it invites us to ensure that when we step out we’re wearing a whole garment and not whichever piece which suits our fancy.

As ones who have enjoyed the awesome gift of God’s love, it is only reasonable that we CHOOSE to dress according to our new status. Perhaps like my spiritual child we might benefit from a spiritual audit to ensure that our clothing remains impeccable regardless of circumstance or location.

May we find the willingness to allow the Master Coutourier to design our garb in accordance with God’s plan for our lives.

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
