Hello

How familiar are you with spoilt children? They can be a nuisance at times, can’t they? What if you were the spoilt child, would your opinion about them waver? Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™

Such love has no fear, because perfect love expels all fear. If we are afraid, it is for fear of punishment, and this shows that we have not fully experienced his perfect love. 1 John 4:18 NLT

A spoilt child does not doubt that that which is desired will become reality. In fact, a spoilt child has little opportunity to be aware of much else than the love received; and it is the assurance of the Love which removes the fear or worry from their minds.

Could it be that we’ve been looking at Perfect Love incorrectly? Could it be that when we’re infused with the awareness of Perfect Love – Who died for our sakes – that fear has no place in our existence or experience? If so, then it’s it’s time to shift our focus from the problem to the Problem Solver, and ask for an ongoing experience of the Love that assures, renews and restores. For sometimes, it’s good to be like a spoilt child, assured that every need, every battle is already addressed by the One who loves us more than Life itself.

Have you ever experienced and acted on that Love?

In Christ’s love and grace
