I trust you and family are well. Please keep me and my family in your prayers as we have been undergoing a trying season. We continue to trust in God and keep our focus. A conversation with a friend yesterday has resulted in the selection of today’s Holy Nougat
Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God. Romans 14:12 NLT
My friend’s pastor reminded him that we all have purpose and God expects us to walk in it. And that is what we’re held accountable for. Not the choir director’s flaws; the hypocritical elders and bench warmers. Not even the preacher who aggravated the entire worship service. We each will be responsible for what we had been purposed.
That includes ministry to those who are on the margins (the hungry, thirsty, naked, sick and imprisoned) as well as using that very special gift God ascribed to each of us.
Because we’re each specially gifted, it is intended that we complement each other; not detract from or add to the tasks of the other. And, it is when we work in tandem that God’s glory is revealed to the fullest.

If we were called into account right now – what would the assessment be? How much effort do we place on pleasing God, especially in relation to the effort we expend for EVERYTHING else?
