Nougat 20

Yesterday at work, we paused to pray for Sudan (not South Sudan as typed). And while praying the Lord’s Prayer, a thought dropped in my spirit. Thus, Today’s Holy Nougat is the entire Lord’s Prayer … plus

““This, then, is how you should pray: “ Our heavenly Father, we recognize that we are all Your children and we pray on behalf of us all,

Your name is holy, and we come in reverence to You

Lord Your kingdom has come, please Abba may your will be done by us, here where we are, for Sudan and other war zones, as Your will is done in Heaven, Your throne room.

Give us today our daily bread and may we remember to feed others so we all have bread.

And forgive us our sins, against You and humanity

as we also have forgiven our debtors and those who offend us, so there are fewer wars and reprisals.

Please lead us, past the temptation to render evil for evil,

but deliver us from the evil one and the wars that abound around us.

For You alone have the power to end all wars on earth Your kingdom;

May we be inclined to pray the Lord’s Prayer in different ways for our life situations. Amen
