Where have you experienced God’s faithful love recently? What causes the memory to be so clear?
God’s faithful love is present everywhere and at all times, even if we don’t notice or acknowledge it. In the air we breathe, the mercies that brought us to this point in our day, for waking up with our minds. Yes, those are undeniable proof of God’s Love and faithfulness that we often take for granted.
In this moment, we inhale, and if it is a natural breath, we pause to praise God for life and love. As we exhale, we hand over the next 24 hours, whether our breathing is perfect or not, regardless of our current circumstances. As we affirm God’s love, let’s allow it to seep into our bones, we are guaranteed One Who loves us for ourselves, even when we are challenged to do so for ourselves.
While we bask in the afterglow of our discovery that we are loved; perhaps we can return that love. Let’s tell God about our love for God, and seek opportunities to share love with someone else today, even if we don’t get anything in return. I pray God’s grace on us.
