Hello
Have you ever marveled at God’s glory after a season of rain? Or found yourself praising in the midst of trauma? God really wants to engage us, are we open to hearing
Something to munch on as we imbibe today’s Holy Nougat™
Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Luke 18:6 NLT
Isn’t it strange that Jesus urges us to learn from someone with little moral conscience? Ironically, many of us are not averse to following the rule breakers (so many of them get away with their wings), but that’s far from what good folks do, right?!
So what redemption is available in the judge’s actions? I would hazard a guess to say it isn’t about the judge per se; rather, it is the ability to see God everywhere … In the love that surpasses brokenness; in the beauty of nature; in the sterile spaces of healthcare; in the tedious, serpentine Bank lines (trust us in the Caribbean, the struggle is real!); In the rat race called rush-hour traffic …
It is important that we are open to see and hear and taste God beyond the walls and halls of the mundane and ordinariness of life.
Might I challenge us to be on the alert for our God-lesson amid the unexpected today.
Thanks for joining in this Divine feast. God bless you
In Christ’s love and grace
