Hi
I was preparing to travel recently and found myself remarking that I was fairy ready for the worst in these uncertain times. Of course, some days later I am on board said flight and a passenger went into some kind of medical distress. I was calm for me and my words came back to my mind.
If we are obliged to crash land will I be okay. Strangely I was more concerned about the passenger’s condition. That question of our soul may offer us a moment’s pause for certain; especially if we are confronted with our own mortality. I believe that that’s the essence of today’s Holy Nougat
“And since you don’t know when that time will come, be on guard! Stay alert!” Mark 13:33 NLT
And should we not believe, one look at world events provides the proof needed for us to sincerely heed this directive.
What are the signs we see which invite us to be alert? And what are our responses to these? Maybe it’s a matter of trusting God more and ourselves less.
Whatever we do, we recall the enemy of our souls would just LOVE to trip us up during our faith walk.
Let’s remain committed and alert.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
