Hello

How are you keeping and coping? Feeling the blessing and anointing of the Lord in your situation? Perhaps it’s time to step out in faith, speaking from the vantage point of what is to be, rather than focus on that which isn’t.

Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™

So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13:6 KJV

The ability to trust God in the Valley of Shadows requires Bold Faith. It insists upon a willingness to see God where shadows and silence are the SOLE visible companions. It stares down doubts and fears – and even the obvious failure – recognising that those are not compatible with God’s grace.

Remember a time of lack or emptiness, when everyone else was basking in life’s not so little successes? Or when everyone else made forward strides and you didn’t? When it seemed as though being God’s redeemed wrought pain rather than gain?

And do you remember the testimony after! The one punctuated by, “But God!’ because it was only God who could have come to the rescue? Those memories are the ones which give us leave to seek refuge in God when others have already hammered the last nail over our life-situation. For even through the Valley of Shadows, God is with us, preparing that feast right in the midst of our situation!!! Now that IS testimony! Corrie ten Boom understood that principle, and so did three Hebrew boys, and (for the most part), so do we.

As we sharpen or armour against the enemy’s daily attack, may we be reminded that this is but our light affliction. God is doing a good thing, God is my fortress, God is my Advocate, there is naught that can counter God’s plan!

Be encouraged my dear. Step boldly into God’s purpose for you.

Thank you for accompanying me and feasting on the Word. [Next week we return to a more fixed schedule].

Blessings and grace.
