Nougat 2

Before reflecting on today’s Holy Nougat, please situate yourself in front of a mirror or put your phone in selfie mode. When the mirror is turned towards you, please read the Nougat slowly.

Who do you see

How well do you know that person?

How honest is that person with themself, as it relates to

– acceptance of God’s love, grace and mercy

– the beauty and the flaws above and below the reflection’s surface

Are there fears that would affect the person’s ability to receive God’s Love?

To what extent does the person you see in the mirror share God’s love?

When the going gets rough, where does that person go spiritually?

You see siblings, before we even decide how to react to the End Times, we have to deal with our own faith and lives. Otherwise, like Judas, we can get souled out to the enemy. And if we get souled out, we might find ourselves becoming ones without self control; slandering others, having hearts calcified with unforgiving and uncaring attitudes.

We speak or at least hear about the Antichrist and ought to be alert to the timing. That is very important. What is equally important is our willingness to understand ourselves, to allow God’s healing grace to wash over us. For the enemy can use slightest issue, imagined or real, to move us towards anti-Christ-like behavior.

There is Hope.

When we are capable of loving the person in the mirror, of accepting God’s love and grace for the person in the mirror, and allow that person to share the love they have within and in Christ, I guarantee that the enemy’s plans will be nullified – for the time being.

May God’s grace continue to be visible in our lives today and always
