Nougat 2

Dear Friends

In recent times, members of the church have been implicated in various offensive acts.

Today’s Holy Nougat™ gives us some serious food for thought

But everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’ Acts of the Apostles 2:21 NLT

What does this mean for all those who have belittled, betrayed, hurt or ridiculed others (or themselves) lied, cheated, or stolen after they called on the name of the Lord? Are those persons saved? Just like like that?

Those persons don’t deserve salvation do they? Of course, if those people were considered be unfit for Heaven, that is – unworthy of salvation – then none of us qualifies either.

But God’s son Jesus came for sinners seeking grace, not perfect people.

Could it be that God desires us to help others find that salvation and to remind some of God’s loving grace, instead of screening persons and determining worthiness? I think so. For, ultimately each of us who has called on the Lord’s name missed God’s mark after we were saved.

Lord, recalibrate our souls so that our sole desire is to offer others the bliss of salvation in Your name. Order our lives in Your Love and grace we pray, in Jesus’s name Amen

Thanks for joining in this Divine feast.

In Christ
