… And she’s back!
I actually missed preparing the reflection which accompanies the Nougats, and hope you missed reading and reflecting too. How has the Heavenly Treasures project been developing? Some of us would have loved to be affirmed back in the day (or maybe now). Let’s be the difference a sister or brother needs.
Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
and listening as Paul preached. Looking straight at him, Paul realized he had faith to be healed. Acts of the Apostles 14:9 NLT
Recently, I have had the renewed privilege of journeying with a friend who is trusting God for healing. Although it is honestly my friend’s journey, it has become mine too. For my faith is partly invested in the friend’s healing, but it remains firmly fixed in Christ, regardless of the various issues that would seek to shake it.
Today, I wish to suggest that faith is a choice. And I choose to have faith in modern miraculous healing – for my friend, and any other who is seeking a health breakthrough in this season.
I’m tired of the old routine, of accepting life’s situations without a spiritual fight. I’m tired of accepting sickness as normative, without seeing God’s healing grace as normative also. I’m ready to walk in the knowledge that God honors God’s promises – even if it seems that the odds are stacked against faith and faith healing.
In the name of Jesus, I speak healing from cancer, hypertension, thyroidism, diabetes, muscle spasms, neuropathy, scoliosis, fibromyalgia, (… feel free to add to the list) and sciatica. Lord Jesus, your word declares that we are healed by the stripes/scars on your back. We recognize healing is given to us in this dispensation and we claim it right now in Jesus’s name. You did it for the apostles of old Lord, intervene for us today. Touch, anoint, heal and restore your children we pray dear Lord, as we stand in the gap, in Jesus’s name
Amen
Let us claim and receive our healing, for our God is mighty to deliver.
In Christ
