I was looking at the past week’s reflections and noted the myriad of yesterday references. And it dawned on me that we do need to stay with yesterday long enough to assess it and learn from it, even as we LIVE today.
With that being said, how did you respond to yesterday’s video?
Here’s your Holy Nougatâ„¢ for today.
Where then is my hope? And as for my hope, who shall see it? Job 17:15
Although Job uttered these words in despair, I think we can draw comfort from the answer. Our hope lies in the Lord, especially when there’s that yaening abyss and no sign of God. Says one writer,
My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesu’s blood and righteousness
I dare not TRUST the sweetest frame
But WHOLLY LEAN on Jesu’s name
Where then is our hope? In Jesus’ name. Let’s try to tell our situations today about the source of our hope as we move toward the tangible outworking.
Time to free-fall
In Christ.
