How far would you go for an experience with the Divine? Consider today’s Holy Nougat

Zaccheus was well aware of his personal limitations. But his need overrode limitations. He knew that his life Depended on being able to see Jesus, and nothing would stop him! For Zac, this meant going AHEAD of the crowd and securing the Best seat in the space – up in a tree! Can you see him there?
Can you hear yourself there?
How desperate is our desire to connect with God? How important the need? How much effort would we expend for a moment with God? Zac might have been listening to the Still, Small Voice. For otherwise, it seems imfeasible to go up into a tree in the hope of being found by Jesus. But desperate means require desperate measures!
Today we have the blessing of being able to meet Christ whenever, wherever in whatever we are wearing, however we desire. And we KNOW that God’s Spirit awaits our expressed desires if we choose to ask.
