When you read the reflection which accompanies today’s Holy Nougat, imagine that YOU are having the conversation with God and respond accordingly.

Turn from my sins … that easy. Yeah Lord! Ready for You now; a-

Except? Except what now Lord
~ You forgot (…) ? I told you you have a problem with (…) Don’t you think it’s high time we address –
Lord ssshhh no please! I not ready to give this up; plus it’s not really a sin. And, after all, it never hurt anybody
~ Really? Not a sin?! Go back to the Ten Commandments; not recommendations. Especially not the first. How does what you do honor me? And what about My feelings? Do they count for anything?
Yes Lord! I guess I never saw that as dishonoring You – I know! I know! We’ve talked about it before. And I didn’t stop. It just felt kinda okay and I felt good after. Back to square one right. I am far from the way to You.
~ Consider this: being like a child means you are totally dependent on Me, you trust Me implicitly and subsequently; you are willing to obey Me completely
But I do that Lord (well at least MOST of the time)
~ And YOU know that it’s All or Nothing for Me! That’s why you need My grace. Only by My grace. Otherwise you won’t succeed. And I don’t want you to fall
Total Implicit and Complete – okay; I can do that.
~ With the glory pointing to Me, lest you lose focus
