Hello

Top of the week to you. What is your hearts/sole desire from God? I recall hearing of a young lady who was asked what she most desired from God. Her response was, to know God’s will and purpose for her life. Something to chew on with today’s Holy Nougat™

asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

Ephesians 1:17 NLT

The writer of Ephesians had the heart of a pastor … The desire was to see the spiritual growth of the gathered community. Of course, that is sometimes easier said than done. We recognize that the Church at Ephesus was NO WALK in the Park. There were internal skirmishes, as well as issues that fostered disunity. Indeed the Struggle was Real.

But then there was that heart prayer. Rather than complain about the mess the church was in, the writer sought to speak over the lives of all Christians within the community.

Thus, we learn two things:

A. in the face of chaos/confusion/crazy circumstances we ought to speak life over the context

B. it’s truly okay to crave more spiritually for one’s own life, even now.

That brings us fill circle, “What do we desire from the Lord and how active are we in going after that for which we’re praying.

With those multi-terror attacks in Europe, and all the other issues which generate angst, chaos and confusion; maintaining spiritual wisdom is almost mandatory for our witness today.

So what’s next? I believe it begins with prayer …

Speaking God’s grace and release over all we put out; and thanks for your continued support.

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
