When we need to make long term plans … here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.” Psalms 37:5 NRSV
Of a fact, when we submit our plans and purpose to God, it is GUARANTEED that God SHALL respond.
Now, please don’t misread this. This is not a promise that God’s actions are what we expect! For, sometimes what is beneficial for us is not necessarily our desire. It may be the difference between a Rolls Royce upgrade from a may-reach. But for many of us it’s a linear switch, a not yet or even a no.
Does that mean our God is not at work? Most definitely not!
Does that mean we can no longer trust God? That’s up to each of us to fearfully determine.
What it does mean is that we put our limited trust in the hands of a limitless God! Awesome
For even when we cannot see God’s purpose; our God’s plans are far superior to ours.
As we face the weekend, I pray us the faith and strength of mind to humbly offer our plans to God for God’s fine tuning.
