Hello,
I thank God for you and pray you remember that in Christ we have an awesome compass.
Today’s nougat
The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. Jn 5:15
He had laid there forever, almost an entire lifetime, he was no longer visible to anyone. Be existed in the shadows, form accustomed to being ridiculed or ignored.
But along came a man who offered him new possibilities – who made him visible, no strings attached.
But someone, or rather some ones, could not see beyond the propriety, they wanted to address the man behind the transformation.
Headed and restored, he did not KNOW his generous life-transforming benefactor. Yet, later after speaking with his benefactor,
The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who healed him.
How did he know?
Do we know Jesus amidst the clamor around us?
Can we discern Jesus at work transforming us and granting visibility to us, despite our age or stage in life?
When Jesus goes against the status quo, are we willing to name him Lord of our hearts? May the rich, transformative blessings of Jesus Christ rock our worlds, so that we might recognise him and walk according to his purpose.
Blessings
