Here’s today’s Holy Nougat™
And God has given us his Spirit as proof that we live in him and he in us.
1 John 4:13 NLT
They things God doors for us. Can you imagine life which goes on and on without the Holy Spirit’s input?! I honestly cannot.
And thanks be to God, I don’t even have to find out. Hallelujah what a Savior. When we think of the holy Spirit as Counselor, we know God is with us every step of the way, offering advice and sound counsel. But not only do we have the Counselor, we also are blessed with our own Advocate. And the Advocate goes to bat for us, especially when the accuser of the brethren tries to prevent us from confidently receiving ALL God has in store.
Let’s not forget that when we get tongue tied about what we really wish to see manifest. For our Intercessor is gifted at articulating our true needs to God. Our own Santa, who gifts us with spiritual insights and signs/marvels to bless others as we have been blessed, and to impact others for God’s glory.
I’m certain that you might have a few more roles to cite, but these should provide a frame of reference when we forget.
So join me in praise for the awesomely amazing, attentive accommodating and accessible Holy Spirit! Hallelujah!!!
