Nougat 17

Greetings

Today Jamaica’s children sit their secondary entrance exams. We pause to place then in God’s care and provision for the next two days.

Here’s today’s nougat

Put on therefore, as God’s elect, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, longsuffering; Colossians 3:12

Ever so often, I get sidetracked by fashion wanting to ensure that I am perfectly matched.

But perhaps even more important than that is our needi to ensure that we’re well dressed for the Beloved of poor spirits.

So let’s do a garment check, remembering that our Lord comes for a church without spot or blemish. Today we invite you to restore our garments that they might be pleasing to you, dear Jesus. Amen
