Bless the Lord my dears
Here we are, as the cusp of another work week. Things might be of kilter, but hopefully being alive gives us reason to continue. I pray that regardless of what you undergo THIS work week, you Will feel the presence of God with you.
Here’s today’s nougat
And God said, “Let there be light.” And there was light. Genesis 1:3
What a. awesome way to portray God’s matchless power! I’ve read Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves, watched several movies about various monarchs, including “The king and I” and God’s statement is In keeping with ultimate leadership. God speaks, and …
… It is.
But it doesn’t end there. In fact, that is only the beginning. For that same God whose very breath creates and orders, chose to breathe In me!
Oh! My! God!
Does that mean that I have been blessed with that creative power? What definitely mean, for me, is that I can definitely claim a family relationship …. Grand, great great great great … multiple greats … great grand breaths ago. God began a process which claims ME as part of God’s own nature, God’s own self.
Awesome!
What’s even neater is that God didn’t just do this for me. Nope. God did this for every. single. one. of. us. No exceptions. No apologies. No recalls. Yup, you are also included in God’s plan.
That’s nothing short of amazing.
What do you think?
(And yes, I do believe God’s Co-creative power had been passed on to us through that breath.)
I pray the knowledge of WHO & WHOSE you are will colour your perception of yourself today and always.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
