Firstly I wish to acknowledge a few friends who are grieving just now. It’s been a rough journey, but God.
For all of us trying to figure out our way through the seasons of life; here’s today’s Holy Nougat
“There were many coming and going, and they had no time even to eat. So He said to them, “Come away by yourselves to an isolated place and rest awhile.”” Mark 6:31 TLV
I have been there. Where busyness gets in the way of every single thing and there’s need for a few more hours in each day to get through the day.
I’ve been there. On a cycle so intense it really is like the hamster, when I’m the hamster, and all that isn’t done is that vicious wheel that keeps turning and never stops.
I’ve been there. Busy doing nothing, well nothing that truly mattered in God’s scheme of things. Yet ‘too busy’, or so I thought, for prayer and time in the Word – the things that keep me truly grounded.
I’ve been there. And thankfully I have also been where Jesus personally (or through a message/messenger) pulls me away from that hamster wheel and into God’s own redeeming grace. A place of rest, restoration and respite. A place that reconnects body with spirit, as Spirit breath fills us if we choose to breathe Her in. An oasis despite the isolation.
