Nougat 17

Published on

Hi

We continue reflecting gifting others as we consider today’s Holy Nougat

“Ever since I first heard of your strong faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for God’s people everywhere, I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly,”. Ephesians 1:15-16 NLT

How often have we heard of a believer’s situation and rejoiced with/for them? And does that include thanking God? What about when it’s not so good news? Are we one of those who offer platitudes without prayer?

How often do other believers feature in our prayers? Awesome! Thank God some do. Sometimes, our breakthrough comes through blessing others. And, as stated yesterday, not all blessings are material. Some people really are better served through prayer; especially for those needs that money can’t buy.

Praying for and with others improves our relationship with God and each other. I can’t recommend it enough. And since some of our prayers will include thanksgiving, we might find that God no longer seems one dimensional. (You know like a supernatural Santa Claus without the suit – ‘‘tis the season). But we might feel that we don’t know what to pray nor do we remember to pray.

Might I recommend praying in the moment and/or recording prayer requests to ensure that we follow through on promises to pray. There are some serious intercessors who receive the Nougats and have been praying for us – thank you and I thank God for you. Please share some tips on praying for others with us.

I pray a blessed safe weekend for us all and that God’s willing and we’re still around next week, our prayer life will be strengthened.

Good morning

In Christ’s love and grace . . .
