Yesterday a friend challenged me on Facebook. Her status celebrated the number of breaths taken each day and invited us to think about the last time we thanked God for even one breath. Talk about ouch. Today’s Holy Nougat could be considered a challenge also. Or an opportunity to give thanks
Yes, the Lord has done amazing things for us! What joy! Psalms 126:3 NLT
Lets not be accused of ingratitude. It is time to give thanks for the little things. For we do not wish to fit the stereotype described by a seeker yesterday. He believes that most Christians are only with Jesus in the good times.
Instead, let’s get caught praising during the rough times. And during the great times. And especially during the boring times. For the small things. For the extraordinary things. For the negligible things. For other’s breakthrough. For our own. It’s always time to praise God and there’s always something extraordinary to praise God for, even in the rough times.
Let every one who has breath Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord
