Have you ever sought the Lord about something and the response you receive seemed unclear? If so feel free to pause and seek God’s face yet again, just like Nathan did in today’s Holy Nougat™
Nathan replied to the king, “Go ahead and do whatever you have in mind, for the Lord is with you.” But that same night the Lord said to Nathan, 2 Samuel 7:3-4 NLT
There you have it. All systems go. Until the Holy Spirit says otherwise. What to do, what not to do?
Definitely don’t go ahead with the plan. It may be doomed to failure. It would not be spiritually healthy to disobey a clear No from God.
Definitely Pray. Especially if the No did not come directly from God.
Definitely listen for God’s response. Ensure that the response received aligns with Scripture and that the No resonates with both one’s Spirit AND Scripture. For in every situation, we desire to be WITHIN God’s plan and purpose for our life.
May God strengthen us in our decision making.
