Do you anticipate the inevitable, supernatural, intervention of God? Do you expect a miracle, do you expect a miracle, do you expect a miracle?
Good day to you. Here’s today’s nougat
They will Be filled with religiosity, but will lack (refuse) the real source of faith. Avoid those persons. 2 Timothy 3:5
What am indictment for those people. Avoid them! Not, “see what you can do to help them.” Just “Avoid those people” For some reason, reference to the religious non believers reminds me of the Lukewarm Christians referenced in 2 Corinthians 6.
A friend and colleague once stated that she was able to tolerate many things and people, but she’d rather not have a lukewarm person in her midst. But that still does not explain what the problem is.
I suspect that it relates to someone having a profound God experience, who goes through the motions, but ultimately has little/no belief in Jesus, the Anointed Messiah, the Christ. Who has seen God at work, yet doubts God’s word and ability to fulfill God’s promise. Who might actually confess With the mouth, but when comes down to the crunch, does not actually believe in the heart that Jesus is Lord.
Sometimes, that person is staring back at us in the mirror.
What then?
Lord Jesus Christ
Please protect us from ourselves. Teach us how to remain focused on You holding steadfast to Your promises, maintaining or trust in You.
Today, we all for a personal reminder of who You are in our individual lives, so that we might reclaim our love. Hear and answer as we seek Your face today. Amen.
In Christ’s love and grace . . .
