“And you are helping us by praying for us. Then many people will give thanks because God has graciously answered so many prayers for our safety.” 2 Corinthians 1:11 NLT
Our reflection today is very simple
Do you pray for your spiritual leaders?
If yes, thanks and keep them going. If no, would you be willing to start now?
My dear siblings in the Faith, saints are constantly under attack and when the leaders fail/fall, several others go with us. Please, please pray for us, our families, and our health (physical, emotional, mental, psychological, financial, and spiritual).
Pray for Wisdom in all circumstances that we are led by God’s Spirit and not our feelings
Pray for our integrity, that we live by God’s rules and not our own
Pray for our thoughts, so we remain safe, focused only on Christ and His will
Pray that we remain teachable and humble in God, lest in our vanity we forget ourselves and our Source
Pray that we dwell continuously in God’s Secret Place, so that – like Anna, Moses and David – we abide always under the shadow of the Almighty
Pray for our relationships: with our selves, family, friends, followers, and foes; that even if/when we do disagree, God’s grace is present
Thanks dears – I pray God’s blessings for each of you
