Walking home with a newbie to Geneva, I noted the Swiss way of rotating mowing wildflowers. Usually, in deference to the biodiversity of insect life, yards are grown out to what would be considered unkempt before being mowed. And I have not seen two adjoining yards trimmed at the same time. Although it may be a bit of a stretch in part, the sharing resulted in my reflection on today’s Holy Nougat
“Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?” Matthew 6:30 KJV
I marveled at the different patterns of the ‘bush’ – whites, yellows, purples and the occasional browns; set against the green backdrop.. the flowers and greenery were indelibly stamped on my mind. God’s message to me was duly received! It wasn’t a singular word, so appropriate for yourself as needed
You are loved, beloved blessed! The God Who clothes the lilies is the God Who created your. It is well.
