Although the language may vary, I am confident that many of us have been down THAT road with God. Perhaps you’ve even added, “Lord, please please tell me what lesson I need to learn so I can learn it and walk in the promise!”; haven’t you? If at all you’ve been down (or you are still trudging down) the Are we there Yet avenue, then today’s Holy Nougat™ is applicable to you
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. 2 Peter 3:9 NLT
The truth is, sometimes our very own human nature is what God needs to protect us from; for if the fulfillment is premature, then we may take God’s Promise for granted or waste the opportunities presented by the blessing. But what of those instances when we’re printed and ready to be blessed, we’ve heard and received all God’s Promises and are standing on them, yet it feels like we’re standing on air?
First we remind ourselves that God IS FAITHFUL in keeping promises. And perhaps, especially based on the Nougat for today, we may choose to pray for the others who are impacted by the outcome of God’s plans in between the Praise dance.
But we cannot lose Hope. For when/if we do, we’ve succumbed to the enemy’s tactics.
Wait on the Lord. Be patient in waiting and God WILL direct your steps. Be still and Wait for God’s timing.
